Starting a Waterski and Wakeboard School
If you are starting a waterski or wakeboard school, call me right away. When I started my first wakeboard school in 2002, I called several owners of schools across the country for their suggestions. What I learned from those conversations played a key role in the success of my school. Each year lots of people try to open a ski school. Most fail and lose lots of money. There’s a whole lot more to it than just being a good rider. You have to do the right advertising, have the right kind of program set up, have good ski school insurance, hire and train quality employees, know how to teach, know how to work with children, know how to handle emergencies & injuries, and a whole lot more. I have started three successful waterski and wakeboarding schools, trained dozens of instructors, and each year I consult with several new individuals who are looking to start their own ski school. There are several tips I can give you that will make the difference between you losing a lot of money and making a lot of money. Call as soon as possible so you don’t miss out on several great advertising opportunities that are only available before the season starts. If you really want to start your school out right, fly me to you and I’ll teach you the details of forming a profitable school.
